CHRIST THE ROCK - DE PERE (formerly Green Bay)

In November of the year 2002, Christ the Rock was officially planted in the Green Bay area. This church, under the pastoral direction of Jim Lenz, has grown from 30 attendees and supporters to a current number of approximately 70 attendees. In 2008 we relocated to a bigger building in De Pere.  Come join our growing family!

PURPOSE
Christ the Rock Community Church - De Pere exists to:
  • Worship and glorify God in spirit and truth (worship)
  • Lead people into a personal relationship with God through Christ (missions)

VISION
Our vision is to help each individual experience a personal relationship with God as we gather together to share our faith and to celebrate God's grace and mercy. We desire to be a loving, caring and accepting community and to promote and maintain an atmosphere of unity. Our commitment is to be diligent and faithful to God's Word.

We desire to form small groups where people can grow in their commitment to loving God and loving others. We seek to train and equip each other to use our gifts to reach out and serve others in a manner which honors God. Our goal is to continually develop and grow as a faithful community of believers passionately devoted to pursuing God.

MINISTRIES

Child care / Children's Ministry
Child care is available for infants through age 2 during the service. We also have a children's ministry for ages 3 to 9 with a lesson, games, snacks and special projects for the children.  Our middle school youth, ages 11 to 14, meet during services to read, discuss, and do fun activities to see how God's Word applies to their lives.

Prayer
All are welcome to join us at the church for the Prayer Gathering at 6:30 PM on the first and third Friday of each month.

Bible Study/Fellowship Groups
Christ the Rock - De Pere offers many different small group and bible study opportunities throughout the year.  Please call the church office at 920.338.0219 for further information.

Men's Bible Study Group
Meets Saturday mornings at 7:00 AM at church.

  • Take highway 41 to the Main Avenue Exit.
  • Go east on Main.
  • Go right on Fort Howard Ave.
  • Take a slight left at Reid Street.

Parking is available in front and back of the building.
