We want Son Harbor to be the best hour of your child's week.
Although we have lots of fun, we realize that we have the serious task of giving kids a biblical foundation that will lead them to a relationship with Jesus. We are committed to serving you and your children so that each child experiences the unstoppable love of God.
Son Harbor provides Bible-based instruction to children from infant thru 5th Grade and is offered during the 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM Worship Services, year round.

Breakout
Our Wednesday evening spiritual formation program for kids in 3rd-5th grades is designed as a club night for kids. Each grade focuses on learning basic Bible doctrines of the faith through three units: God Loves Me, I Love God, and I Love Others. Kids grow together with the same small group of kids all year developing strong relationships with both their leaders and the other children in their groups. And there is plenty of fun while they do it—including awards for participation and two outside Fun Nights that they can take part in!

What does a Breakout C Group look like?
Each group has one leader with six to seven children. Each child receives a Breakout binder. Students discuss the lesson with their small group and learn to apply biblical truth to their lives each week. Each group exchanges prayer requests and spends time praying for one another.
Additional Breakout outreach opportunities
Each year, 5th graders in Breakout are given the opportunity to serve one weekend at Silver Birch Ranch in White Lake, WI. We gather the kids and leaders together and drive up on a Friday and get back Sunday afternoon. We have a blast and work pretty hard too! A separate permission slip is required for this event along with $20 per child/weekend.
All Breakout students will have an opportunity to invite their friends to a fun outreach night and have serving opportunities during the year.

Enrollment
Enroll August 2013. Enrollment is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Registration is not complete until forms are filled out and fees are paid.
Cost
$50 per child (includes $10 t-shirt)
$40 per child (I already have a t-shirt)
Note: Fee covers the cost of all materials, awards and two Fun Nights (payment plans available, if needed)

Ignite
A group of boys and girls in grades 4th-7th grade who help lead music for the Kindergarten through 5th grade students at weekend services and Breakout. These kids serve by singing and doing motions (yes, dancing) to the song sets.

Who can be in Ignite?
Any student in 4th-7th grade who has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for singing and dancing. Auditions are held each spring to give everyone the opportunity to try out for this servant leadership opportunity.
Why do we have Ignite?
Praising God through music is an experience in which students learn more about who God is as a way to strengthen their friendship with Him. Children's Ministry Ignite Kids will model that in front of others and bring energy to the music sets.
