Resources for Support & Growth

Counseling

At Christ The Rock Community Church we offer both individual and group counseling services with a spiritual emphasis. Our counselors include pastors and lay counselors who receive in-depth training in the counseling area, but are not professional counselors with degrees. We understand that when seeking counseling, the first step of admitting to yourself that you are struggling and making the phone call can be difficult. However, you can be assured that any information you share and even the fact that you called to inquire about the counseling services here at Christ The Rock Community Church will be held in strict confidentiality.

One-on-One Counseling

  • Step 1: Call the Church Office - Let the receptionist know you would like to speak to someone about receiving counseling. You will either be connected with our director of counseling, or be asked to leave your name and phone number on voice mail. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. All messages left on voice mail are confidential. During the initial phone conversation you will be asked what is occurring in your life right now. Your honest answer helps us assign the trained lay counselor best suited to help you.
  • Step 2: Appointment Scheduling & Intake Form - After the initial request, you will be contacted by the pastor or lay counselor assigned to you, to set up an appointment. You will then be asked to fill out an intake form, including some background information about you and your situation. This form is read only by the pastor of counseling and your assigned counselor and is kept at the church in a confidential file.

Please note that there may be a delay in the assignment of a counselor based on availability. We may suggest an appropriate Class or Growth Group in the interim, or refer you to a local counselor, agency or intervention program.

Food Pantry | Food request Fridays, pickup Tuesdays

Anyone in need of food is invited to pre-register for pick-up by contacting and leaving a message at the Christ The Rock office at 920.730.8383, ext. 416. Please leave your name, phone number and the best time to reach you. Our volunteers will return your call from a blocked phone number, so please be available to take their call at the times you have specified in your message. Food pick-ups are scheduled at Christ The Rock on Tuesdays from 8:30 - 9:30 am or 5:30 - 6:30 pm. For more details and answers to frequently asked questions, please read the guidelines.

Food Pantry Guidelines

  • All food pantry requests must be received by 5:00 pm Friday in order to be included in the coming Tuesday's pick up.
  • Any calls received after this time will be added to the following Tuesday request list.
  • A phone interview will be completed by one of our volunteers, when your phone call is returned. During that phone interview we will ask basic household information. We will also set up your pick up time.
  • Food Pantry pick up occurs each Tuesday 8:30 am – 9:30 am or 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm in the West entrance of the church campus. We ask that you do not arrive before the start time and also arrive before our end time.
  • We are here to help you in your season of need, but after a period of continual use, we may require you to attend a Leaven financial interview. Christ the Rock partners with Leaven in assisting you to find the best solutions in your times of need.
  • Only the person or persons making the request will be allowed to pick up on pantry day.
  • Christ the Rock does not deliver, so please make arrangements for transportation.
  • Christ the Rock food pantry exists on donations of food, money and volunteer time. Choices of food will vary depending upon donations that have been received; quantity will vary depending on the household size.
  • Some of our donated food may be outdated. Before using any food check all liquids and semi-liquids along with washing fruits and vegetables. Remember – you are taking food freely at your risk and CTR cannot be held responsible.
  • Christ the Rock Food Pantry is available as a supplement to your food budget. We cannot supply all the food needs of your household. If you feel your need to be a long-term situation, we have many wonderful resources we can help put in contact with.

Attention Food Donors: Please drop non-perishable food items off on the racks when you enter Christ The Rock through the main entrance. Our current needs are: cereal, bread, canned vegetables, canned fruits, and canned meats.
