Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry: Infants-6th grade | 8:45 & 10:45 am
Children receive age-appropriate Bible teaching about God’s unstoppable love in a fun, loving atmosphere. Each Sunday includes time for free play, worship, a large group teaching, small group time, and an activity. We want Children’s Ministry to be the best hour of your child’s week! Unsung Hero- Private Showing | April 30 at 6 pm
Come join other CTR families at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30 at the Marcus Valley Grand Theater for a showing of the brand new movie Unsung Hero, which is the story of the family of origin of Christian singer Rebecca St. James and For King and Country. We have reserved an entire theater, but we still expect seats to sell out quickly! Each ticket is $7. Concessions available at the movie theater.

Breakout Jr. | Grades Kindergarten – 2

Parent Meeting: Wed., Oct. 4 – 6:30-7:30 pm | Kids begin Oct. 11 – 6:30-7:45 pm
Kids in grade K-2 are welcome at Breakout Jr for discipleship, connection, fun, and age-appropriate Bible teaching and small group time. We also do Invite-a-Friend nights, like PJ & Popcorn Night and a Neon dance party, so kids can invite neighbors or classmates to hear about Jesus’ love for them in a fun setting. Other fun nights on site will be included throughout the year also.

We will also do Invite-a-Friend nights, like PJs & Popcorn and roller skating, so kids can invite neighbors or classmates to hear about Jesus’ love for them in a fun setting.

Current lesson series in Children’s Ministry:
Elementary Theme: Strike A Pose
Look up in the sky. It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s…just a kid
posing as Superman! When kids strike a pose, they can
become just about anything—a superhero, a prehistoric
monster, even a slice of pizza. They can also become
characters in the Big Bible Story. During “Strike a Pose,” kids
will be pushed, pulled, and shaped into different poses to
help tell the stories of how the early church was started and
exploded into the world. More than that, kids will learn how
they can help build God’s church today
Preschool Theme: Hop To It
Get ready for Kenzie the Kangaroo to hop into the hearts of
the preschoolers. She traveled all the way to the preschool
room, but when she got there, the story objects fell out of
her pouch and now they’re lost. Not to worry, though! The
preschoolers will hop to it and save the day! Once found, the
objects will help kids learn that they can follow Jesus and tell
others about Him

Volunteer Information:
Sunday Morning Hallway Huddles | 8:15 & 10:15 am: As we dive into summer we still plan on meeting before each service on Sunday Mornings. Our vision behind this is to create a space where we’re able to gather together, briefly talk about the morning while giving you a place to ask any final questions about activities, schedule, etc., and then PRAY and commit ourselves to God and ask for HIM to provide us with what we need to serve the kids well. When you are scheduled to serve, we ask that you make sure you arrive 30 minutes prior to the service: 8:15 am or 10:15 am.
Beautiful and powerful things happen when God’s people gather to pray, and we grow and connect together as a CTR Kids team when we make these huddle times a priority.

Ignite
Sun. mornings, Sept.-May | 8:45 & 10:45 am
Ignite is a worship team for kids, by kids! Using music, dance and motion, they engage our Kindergarten – 4th grade Sunday morning large-group classes. Auditions are held each spring for kids entering grades 4-12.
