This class is designed for those who have a spouse or significant other taking Restoring the Heart (growth group for those who have been wounded by some form of abuse). It will give you tools to help you come alongside them during their journey toward healing. You will explore topics such as anger, shame, power and control. You will also discuss the importance of being a friend as they look at the damage and harm that has been done to them. We will also provide a safe place to explore issues in the relationship that may be directly related to the past abuse and give an opportunity to explore how your own “story” may be impacting the relationship. |
