CHURCH STRUCTURE

Christ The Rock is an evangelical, non-denominational church. This simply means that the center of our faith is in the person of Jesus Christ, and that we do not have a larger denominational affiliation.

We believe that we all have equal value in God's sight, even though we have different gifts, abilities, roles and responsibilities. God has established the leadership structure for our church so that our leaders lead from in front, not from on top.

Elder Team

Christ The Rock is governed and overseen by a team of Elders. We believe that it is their role  to provide the ultimate leadership, authority, teaching and protection of our Church.

Servant Leadership Team

The Servant Leadership Team (SLT), is empowered by the Elders to lead our church body to carry out our purpose of Loving God and Loving others, Living out the truth of His Word, and Reaching people for Christ. Pastoral Team

Our pastors and key staff leaders make up our Pastoral Team. Along with shepherding our church body, they encourage and support one another. This includes sharing stories and ideas from our many diverse ministries within the church, in our Fox Valley community and globally around the world. The Pastoral Team also strategically plans and communicates upcoming events to the Servant Leadership Team. Read more »

Staff

The staff at Christ The Rock oversee the implementation of the purpose, mission and goals of the church. They are the key contacts for specific areas of ministry where individuals can obtain ministry services or find ways to get connected in meaningful serving opportunities. Our staff’s main role is to care for, equip and release all who voluntarily serve in and through the church. To contact a member of our staff, use the Contact Us form or call the church office.

Advisory Council

Our Advisory Council supports the Governing Elders by providing outside and objective counsel. This council is comprised of different local and national Christian leaders who have an ongoing relationship with the leaders and body of Christ The Rock. Although the council has no legal or formal authority at Christ The Rock, we highly value its input, feedback, council and encouragement. These leaders love and care for the well-being of CTR and its leaders, and are available to provide wisdom and advice on issues the elders deem necessary from their respected areas of expertise.
