Because we know that students have a desire to serve and to pour back into their youth group, we want to provide a venue for them to serve their peers.  The CREW is just one place where they’ll have an opportunity to either serve as: tech team, set up/takedown team, concessions, or clean up.  These students will have certain roles and responsibilities depending on where they’d like to serve.  The CREW is just one part of how we help students FOLLOW Christ by serving others.

Colossians 3:17

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord

 Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

The FLING

Because we know that students grow differently, we want to provide an atmosphere for our youth that is in a smaller context.  Some youth grow in a smaller community

because there the leaders can focus more on accountability, discipleship, and mentorship.  The FLING provides this for the students who would like to “dig deeper”

in their faith through accountability, discipleship, and practicing the spiritual disciplines (Bible Reading, prayer, etc.)  This Group is for those who have a desire to

KNOW & FOLLOW God, but would also benefit those who are seeking Christ out too.  We encourage those who want to “dig deeper” to attend The FLING! 

            Hebrews 10:24-25

             “And Let us consider how to stir one another to love and good works, not neglecting

             to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all the

             more as you see the day drawing near.”

Amped Wednesday Nights

The body of Christ is the Church.  The church is not a building.  Therefore, we as the Amped youth group on Wednesday nights desire to help JH students Seek, Know, & Follow Christ on Wednesday nights.  This is in a larger context and we know that Amped on Wednesday nights is more of an open doors ministry.  Our hope is to not leave any behind, but to encourage every youth whether they are still seeking who Jesus is or whether they have come to know Him and are following Him.  We want to come alongside students wherever they are at and help them take the next step towards knowing or following Christ!  See our Amped Purpose & Vision Statement.

Bible Classes

God’s word is where the foundation of our faith needs to lie in.  It’s in His word that we know of the Hope that we have in Jesus Christ.  It’s His word that teaches us and shows us how we can know and Follow Him!  Therefore, because God’s Word is so important, we strive to teach our youth about His Word and also how to apply it to their lives through our Bible Classes.  JH students have the capacity to learn and to apply deep Biblical truths to their lives, and by God’s grace we will help them learn who He is and what His plans are for us and for the World through His Word.  This is where students who want to dig deeper could also go as well if they’d like to take the next step in their faith.  2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, James 1:22
