OAKS (Organized Acts of Kindness & Sacrifice)
Every recipient of Christ's love is called to love others by assisting with the physical, emotional, and monetary needs that sometimes overwhelm us. When these needs arise and we don’t have the family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers to assist us, where do we turn? Everyone desires to be fully loved, fully known, and to be treated with dignity. We know that this can only be done perfectly through Christ, but with OAKS, we desire to extend this "Christ-likeness" to those we serve. Below are some areas through which we extend this love in the form of assistance to others:
Food
Christ The Rock Food Pantry -- We exist to meet the needs of our body by coming alongside those who find themselves in a time of hardship. We offer an emergency supply of food and gentle direction through the right channels of financial counseling or help, if needed, either through our body or other resources in the community.

Christ The Rock Thanksgiving meal -- Each year Christ The Rock, with the support of the community, serves a Thanksgiving meal to thousands of people in the Fox Valley.
To request delivery of or transportation to/from the Thansgiving meal, please fill out the Registration Form.
Financial
Christ The Rock Monetary Assistance -- We exist to meet the needs of our body by coming alongside those who find themselves in a time of hardship. We offer emergency monetary assistance and gentle direction through the right channels of financial counseling or help, if needed, either through our body or other resources in the community.

Auto/Transportation
Christ The Rock Auto Ministry -- This team of volunteers has been specifically selected to help with oil/fluid changes, vehicle inspections, as well as minor repair work. All work is limited to a two hour maximum. These repairs are by appointment only. The minor repair work is limited to:
- brakes
- tune-ups
- removal/replacement of external engine components
To inquire about applying for auto assistance, please fill out the Registration Form.
Your request will be processed and you will be contacted the Wednesday before the next repair day to
schedule your repair. Please check the church's Community Calendar for the next repair date as repairs are
done once per month. We will not schedule your car without verbal conversation with you.

Christ The Rock General Assistance
If you could benefit from assistance for a different kind of need, we have made ourselves availabe to help, as we can, those who don’t have the family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers to assist them with needs that come up in day to day life. Needs we may be able to assist with are:
- Support for recent widows
- Shut-ins due to surgery or immobility
- Help with a move
- Assistance with minor repairs, painting, yard work, meals
- Assistance in the event of hardship or disaster
- Any other needs that present themselves…
