"You are now entering the Mission Field." That sign hangs above the doors as you leave Christ The Rock, but what does it mean?

First, here at Christ the Rock our Core Calling is to reach and restore the hurting to wholeness in Christ; not just inside our church walls, but outside as well.

Second, it means that Christ followers, given the free will to do whatever they want with their time and talents, chose to serve Him by giving selflessly beyond the doors of Christ The Rock, supporting Christian causes in the local community, throughout the state, nationally and globally. 

Third, when you participate in such organizations, you are not only representing yourself, you are promoting Christianity by example and through your interactions with fellow volunteers and recipients of your good will.

Psalm 9:11 says: "Sing the praises of the Lord, enthroned in Zion proclaim among the nations what he has done." We are all called to serve him in the mission field; so, please take a look at some of the Outreach opportunities available to you, be it through supporting those in need in the Fox Valley, throughout the state, the nation or the world.
