PURPOSE AND VISION OF AMPED

Seek, Know, Follow 

Amped is a ministry of students who desire to seek, know and follow Christ!

SEEK - Provide a place for students to come and ask the “questions”; a place where they belong.        

Luke 19:10  “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”              

Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

KNOW - Helping students to know who God is through His Word, Lifestyle worship, and Fellowship. Teaching students about their personal & daily walk w/Christ.                  

John 17:3   “And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.         

Hebrews 4:12   “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any two edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and marrow and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”                           

2 Timothy 3:16  “All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

FOLLOW - Providing students with opportunities to serve, love and reach others for Christ, because they have experienced God and desire to obey what He teaches. Helping them live for Christ. Students are beginning to live out their faith as they journey on their walk with Jesus!                         

Matthew 22:37-39  “And he said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the great and first commandment.  And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself’ .”      

Matthew 28:18-20  “And Jesus came and said to them, “All Authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”                  

John 15:15  “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.”                  

James 1:22  “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only...” (ESV)
