 SMIRNA Romania
Foundation Vista is a non-profit ministry caring for the lost and
needy in the Romanian area of Drobeta Turnu Severin. Christ The Rock
Community Church (CTRCC) has been supporting this ministry since 1999.
Along with providing skill programs for older orphans, children’s
ministry, humanitarian projects and discipleship, the leaders of
Foundation Vista have taken the steps to launch, in 2006, a church
plant called SMIRNA. CTRCC has been invited to be a part of this church
plant.
SMIRNA, under the pastoral direction of Ionut Corlan,
desires to be a light in a dark city for this Romanian community of
believers. SMIRNA provides them with the freedom to be real with each
other and to grow in a loving, nurturing environment. This church will
nurture and grow leaders who have the heart and the call to launch many
sub-ministries, reaching the lost of Romania through outreaches, which
will assist these communities with the many practical needs resulting
from being a post-communist country. Still in the birth stage, this
church dreams of starting other churches in the towns and villages
around.

then to release them to ministry, being lights in their families,
school, work, and beyond.
