VOLUNTEER
You were designed to make an eternal impact in the lives of others. It starts with being willing to put others ahead of yourself. Then use whatever understanding you have of your talents, passions, and gifts to guide you in choosing a way to volunteer. It may take several attempts at volunteering to find the way that really seems to fit who you are. You may find your niche in a church ministry, in a community organization, or serving another people group half way around the world.
Just Jump In!
If you want to try out volunteering before making a commitment, look for the opportunities that say “First Serve (FS)” or click here for the First Serve List. You can check it out and then if it seems right, the leader will walk you through any training or requirements.
Learn More About Your Spiritual Gifts
When you make a personal commitment to follow Christ, He gives you spiritual gifts that help you to make a difference as you serve. If you would like to find out what your gifts may be, take the Spiritual Gift Assessment.

Serving Levels
Some opportunities require certain training or Christian maturity.
If you are new to Christ The Rock, you can serve in any entry level or level 1 opportunity. If you have completed Discover Classes and are a member you can serve in level 2 positions, and if you have demonstrated faithfulness and godly character over time and have completed the class, Character Development, you can serve in level 3 positions (leadership and teaching).
