Blessed Are Those Who Hunger/Thirst For Righteousness

Blessed Are Those Who Hunger/Thirst For Righteousness

The first three beatitudes remind us of our need for God. They encourage us to empty ourselves. This week we see a shift, as Jesus says “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” What do we hunger and thirst after? What can really satisfy us? And how can we grow in our desire for righteousness? We’ll look at these questions as we continue to unpack what it means to live in the upside-down Kingdom of God.
