From Self-Sufficient To Surrendered

When we were young children we learned to say, “Mine!” and hold on dearly to whatever was in our grasp. We didn’t want to give up whatever we were holding on to for fear someone else would get it. This action also gave us a sense of control and power over our circumstances. That felt good as a youngster. In this installment in our Me to We series we’ll look at why and how God is calling us from a life of self-sufficiency and control to a life of surrender and trust. While He never promised that the surrendered life would be easy He did say that it would be an adventure. Hang on to your hat because you are in for an exciting ride!
