Sanctification

What does it mean to be saved? When most Christians say they are saved they mean, “I’m going to heaven when I die.” While that’s true, salvation in Christ is even more incredible than going to heaven. Salvation is something we can experience now. God has promised to transform us into the image of Jesus. This process is called sanctification. It’s the promise of saving us from the power of sin in our lives now. This sermon explores what the Bible says about sanctification and how we are called to participate in the process.

From Series: "Saved"

The Saved series is part of our yearlong focus on knowing Jesus. The purpose of this series is to teach on the fullness of salvation made available to us through Christ. The problem this series is hoping to address is the incomplete and (all too often) apathetic view that Christians have of salvation. The goal of this series is to inspire hope and anticipation in God’s people for the fullness of salvation and to entice people who don’t follow Jesus to accept Christ and embrace His full salvation.
