The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

What’s something you desperately want to receive but can struggle to give? If you said “forgiveness” you are correct! Because we are fallen people we often disappoint and sin against each other. The good news is that doing so gives us great opportunities to forgive and receive forgiveness. In this parable of the unforgiving servant, Jesus teaches us how we should handle the issue of forgiveness, the results of not forgiving, and the benefits of extending forgiveness to others. This message takes a look at the Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, and learn what forgiveness is and what it isn’t, how we can be free from a heavy burden, and how to live a joyful life.

From Series: "Moral of the Story"

This series focuses on the parables of Jesus. Jesus often taught by telling stories that were simple and relatable, yet profound. His parables revealed deep truths about human nature, our waywardness, and the Father's unfailing love. We can't wait to examine why He taught this way, and dive into the parables themselves.
