Coming Clean

Coming Clean

In the next message in the Soul Training series, Coming Clean, we look at the spiritual discipline of confession. While God sent His Son to pay the price for our sin, sin stands in the way of building a relationship with God by producing shame and fear. Confession moves us from unfounded fear to unfailing love. Whether we are confessing a sin or someone’s telling us their confession, God desires confession to lead us to His true self where we experience Him as the loving and forgiving Father He truly is. Confession allows us to confront our guilt and see our need for God. In crying out to God for mercy, we see God respond in love.
