Dealing With Depression

Seeing the power of God working in our lives can set us on the mountain top. There are times in our lives where everything is going so well, we are connected with God and enjoy His full pleasure in a peaceful time. And then, seemingly out of nowhere, everything changes. The brightness and lightness of our days turns into darkness and gloom. We may receive devastating health news, financial setbacks, relationships that have been so important in our lives end without warning. How can things change so quickly? We’ll see in this message how this played out in Elijah’s life. He walked closely with God and witnessed firsthand His incredible power and provision. Elijah had every reason to walk in faith yet the threatening words of a wicked queen sent him into a tailspin. Elijah started focusing on his circumstances. It may not be a queens words for you but do you recognize times when your circumstances grow larger than your faith? In this message we look at Elijah’s reaction to his circumstances and the depression he suffered through. We’ll see that there is hope on the other side. Be encouraged and find the hope in the gentle breeze of God’s voice!
