Lay Counseling

If you are a discerning listener with the compassion and heart to walk those who are hurting through the healing process, please consider applying for our Lay Counseling Class. 

Becoming a CTR Lay Counselor requires attendance at three intensive weekend classes in January, April and September (Thurs. night, Fri. night, and Sat. morning), 24 hours of practice with a student partner, 24 sessions participating in a Journey Group and 10 hours of individual observation. 

Class materials fee: $25 | Application for the 2027  class will open in late spring 2026.

Pre-requisite for the 2027 class: successful completion of Character Development class by Dec. 2026.
