If you are a discerning listener with the compassion and heart to walk those who are hurting through the healing process, please consider applying for our Lay Counseling Class. 

Becoming a CTR Lay Counselor requires attendance at three intensive weekend classes in January, April and September (Thurs. night, Fri. night, and Sat. morning), 24 hours of practice with a student partner, 24 sessions participating in a Journey Group and 10 hours of individual observation. 

2027 class dates: January 14-16, April 1-3, and September 9-11. 

No fee for this training program | Application deadline: November 1, 2026.
