This Sunday we look at someone who had a front row seat in watching Jesus' life and ministry, but was a holdout. It wasn't until after the resurrection that he became a Christ-follower. It is very intriguing to investigate James, the brother of Jesus and realize he was a skeptic, until he saw the resurrected Savior. If you know of a skeptic or someone who has a lot of questions about faith, this would be an ideal Sunday to invite them.
When Jesus called people, He never asked someone to become a "Christian". He never led someone in a sinner’s prayer. He never shared the 4 spiritual laws. He never told someone to invite Him into their heart. But He did say, “Follow Me”. We will take an in-depth look at what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The following 7 weeks we will look at 6 individuals who did follow Him and 1 who didn't.
