Student Ministries

Christ The Rock’s Student Ministries provide opportunities for students in middle and high school to learn about Jesus, build relationships with God and others, and develop into the man or woman God designed them to be, so that they can glorify God in all that they do.

We build community with fun events throughout the year like Turkey Bowl, Formal Banquet, IceBlast retreat at Fort Wilderness and more.

Student Ministry students are also invited to develop a heart for serving others through service weekends at Silver Birch Ranch, working in impoverished neighborhoods with Jesus People USA in Chicago, volunteering at Lifest in July, serving at Christ The Rock’s free community Thanksgiving Meal and other opportunities.

Small Group Kick Off! Amped (grades 6-8) & NarrowPath (grades 9-12) | Wed., Sept. 11 | 6:30-8:30 pm

Join us for our first official night of Student Ministries! Students will meet their small groups and small group leaders! New students are welcome as we look ahead at growing in Christ throughout the school year.

Amped Middle School Youth Group (grades 6-8)

Wed. | 6:30-8:30 pm in The Loft

Our middle school students are learning to love God the way He loves us by discipleship through meaningful teaching, and relationship with small group leaders and each other – with lots of fun built in, such as Summer Blast Day Camp in July.

Destination Chicago | October 24-27

Students in grades 6-8 are invited to participate in a mission trip to serve with Jesus People USA, in Chicago, IL. This is an incredible opportunity to live out our call to serve others, grow in relationship with Jesus by understanding His heart for those in need, and build relationships with fellow students serving on the mission trip. Cost is $150 (scholarships available). A mandatory meeting for Parents and Students is scheduled between services on October 13 in The West Lounge.

NarrowPath High School Youth Group (grades 9-12)

Wed. | 6:30-8:30 pm in The Loft

High school students grow in their understanding of who God is, what it means to follow Jesus, and “owning” their faith into adulthood. Teens experience worship, Bible teaching, connection in small groups, opportunities to serve and lead others, and fun with other high schoolers who want Christ at the center of their lives.

Project Serve: Silver Birch Ranch

Oct. 18-20 | Silver Birch Ranch in White Lake, WI

Each year, our students have a service opportunity to help prepare Silver Birch Ranch grounds for the winter and serve campers who are attending one of SBR’s camps. There is also downtime to have fun, build their relationship with Jesus and with fellow students! The cost for this trip is $30. Sorry, but we are no longer taking signups as the trip is full.
