Hope and Suffering

Do you ever have days where it’s hard to carry on – when you feel stuck? Do you ever have emotions and sorrow that you cannot even find the words to express? Do you ever have days where it feels like God is a million miles away and you cannot understand why you are going through the pain and suffering? What if those are moments where God is much closer than you think? What if God is doing way more in those moments than you could even imagine? As we continue our series in Romans VIII, we will see how the Holy Spirit joins us in those moments, and is doing more for us than we realize. We will see how this leads us to a hope that never fails, and pulls us through our darkest days and hardest moments.

From Series: "Romans VIII"

Some of the most famous phrases in the Bible, including "there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ," "God works out all things for the good," and "nothing can separate us from the love of God," all come from Romans chapter 8. These phrases are famous for good reason – they inspire us, comfort us, and are all from one of the most-quoted sections of Scripture in our day. But what do these phrases actually mean in their full context? In a verse-by-verse study of Romans chapter 8, we will explore these phrases and much more.
