Have you ever wondered about the greater purpose of your life? Have you ever wondered how your life fits into the grand story God is telling? As we come to the end our study in Genesis, we will see how God uses the good, the bad, and the ugly of Abraham’s family to fulfill his covenant promises. But Genesis isn’t the end of the story. It’s only the beginning. God is still writing his story and wants to work in and through the good, bad and ugly of our lives to fulfill the remaining promises that will come with his return.
You might assume that God only works through cleaned-up people who have it all together. But God chose to work through the good, bad and ugly of this messy, broken family to bring forward His plan of delivering a Savior for His people and the entire world.
